Strike Face (DSTU class 6) is a protective ceramic armor plate that represents an alternative replacement for steel armor plate. This plate is able to bend, absorbing kinetic energy and reducing possible damage to the internal organs of the carrier, and deforms to withstand the full force of an impact. Due to the high hardness of the material, this armor plate provides significant resistance to the projectile, slowing its movement.
