The Kestrel Portable Vane Mount 2700 Series weather vane is an indispensable tool for anyone who needs accurate wind speed and direction data, from professional sharpshooters and gunners to amateur shooters. It easily mounts on a Kestrel portable tripod or any other tripod and allows your pocket weather station to measure wind direction. To do this, the weather vane must be mounted so that the wind is directed toward the rear of the vane. The axis and tail part of the weather vane ensure that it rotates freely even in light breezes. The built-in level ensures correct installation and accurate measurements.
