The Kestrel weather station reaches its potential in perfect combination with a weather vane. Thanks to its high quality mounting, the device can be securely mounted on a tripod or bracket with 1/4-20 thread. Once mounted on a weather vane, the device becomes a full-fledged monitoring station as its large blades and pivoting elements follow the wind direction precisely, while the weather station continues to monitor and record wind speeds as well as other important environmental parameters. The LiNK app (available for iOS and Android) allows you to connect the device up to 30m away, displaying real-time data on your mobile device with a customizable interface. The weather station fits comfortably in the pocket provided for storage in the weather vane case. The whole set weighs 295g and measures 6.5 x 7.5 x 22cm.
