The display has a higher resolution and improved contrast of the information displayed on it. Dual-mode display backlight with the ability to switch between standard white backlight and red backlight compatible with night vision (NV) devices. This backlight has a reduced brightness, does not illuminate NV devices and reduces the risk of detection during night maneuvers.
Bluetooth LINK, thanks to Bluetooth Smart wireless technology, allows you to display all important information from the weather station in real time remotely at a distance of up to 30 meters in an application on an Android or iOS device.
The data log can be transferred to an iOS/Android device wirelessly using the LiNK wireless connection and the Kestrel LiNK app, or to a Windows/Mac device using the Kestrel LiNK dongle or a waterproof USB data cable - both sold separately.
Advanced data storage functionality that allows you to record minimum, maximum and average values, as well as interpret the selected array of such data in the form of a chart or a dynamic trend graph with chronological data. The maximum capacity of the data storage allows recording user-selected measurements to display 10,000 values simultaneously.
The weather station has a built-in clock and calendar.
