Kestrel 5700 Elite Applied Ballistics portable weather station with Bluetooth and built-in ballistics calculator and control via the Kestrel LiNK Ballistics app. It supports up to 30 shotgun and ball profiles and 10 targets. The main parameters to measure are wind speed and direction, air temperature, pressure and altitude. The weather station allows you to work with shots at distances up to 5000 meters. The housing of the device is waterproof and IP67 rated, making it an ideal choice for long distance shooting. Kestrel devices have been tested in some of the most extreme environments on Earth. Kestrel LiNK Ballistics is a proprietary mobile app designed to be installed on iOS and Android mobile gadgets. With its help, you can download to the weather station all the necessary settings of the devices used: the profile of the rifle, scope, various ammunition. Easy Mode is a simple step-by-step guide to using Kestrel so you can learn faster and start shooting long distances with confidence. The Initial Velocity Calibration Guide allows you to accurately measure ball speed without a chronograph for improved accuracy.
The large, high-contrast, high-resolution graphic display is perfectly readable in bright sunlight. Two types of backlighting are provided: a bright white backlight and a red backlight that preserves vision at night. The readout is very easy to read.
