Kestrel 5700X Elite Applied Ballistics portable weather station with Bluetooth and integrated ballistics calculator and control via the Kestrel LiNK Ballistics app. The device can store up to 30 weapon and ammunition profiles and 10 targets. The Muzzle Velocity Truing feature allows you to accurately measure bullet velocity without the additional use of a chronograph.
Kestrel LiNK Ballistics is a proprietary mobile app designed to be installed on iOS and Android mobile gadgets. With its help, you can download to the weather station all the necessary settings of the devices used: the profile of the rifle, scope, various ammunition. It should also be noted that you can take advantage of the ammunition data available in the extensive library. The 5700X Elite Applied Ballistics model can store up to 30 rifle/bullet profiles and 10 targets.
The data log can be transferred to an iOS/Android device using LiNK wireless and the Kestrel LiNK app, or to a Windows/Mac device using a Kestrel LiNK dongle or waterproof USB data cable - both sold separately.
The large, high-contrast, high-resolution graphic display is easy to read in bright sunlight. There are two types of backlighting: a bright white backlight and a red backlight, which preserves vision at night. It is very easy to read the readings.
The weather station has a built-in clock and calendar.
The unit is powered by the included AA battery, with up to 400 hours of run time on a single battery with the Bluetooth module turned off.
