The Teleflex Rusch 32 FR - 140mm Nasopharyngeal Airway is a flexible polymer tube inserted into the victim's nostril to restore air patency. In a number of situations (tongue dropping in case of unconsciousness, skull, jaw and neck injuries, etc.), there is a risk of blockage of the airway, as a result of which the victim cannot breathe through the mouth or nose on their own. In addition, in such cases, artificial respiration is also impossible due to the fact that the air inhaled into the victim's mouth or nose does not enter the lungs directly. In such situations, it is necessary to restore airway patency as soon as possible, for which artificial chimneys are used.
