The Beacon Vented Chest Seal 6″ Round is a modern vented occlusive dressing designed to provide first aid for penetrating chest wounds and pneumothorax. Beacon™ occlusive patches are specially designed using a medical-grade hydrogel adhesive that is strong enough to adhere to skin that is wet with water, blood, or sweat. The Beacon occlusion patch provides one-way airflow from the chest during exhalation, preventing air from entering the chest cavity during inhalation. The Beacon Chest Seal Vented occlusion patch comes in ultra-compact 10x15 cm packaging and is quick to deploy.
