Description

The SAM Pelvic Sling II, Standard – is used for fractures or other pelvic injuries. It is compact, latex-free, and easy to apply quickly.

Description:

The SAM® Pelvic Sling II buckle is designed to prevent over-tightening or under-tightening, unlike other commercial immobilization devices that allow unlimited force to be applied. When optimal compression is achieved, the buckle clicks and automatically locks the sling in place.

The back of the sling is made of a special material that prevents slipping on skin or clothing. This ensures the belt remains securely in position to stabilize the pelvis.

One of the major advantages is the radiolucent components of the sling, allowing X-rays to be taken without removing it.

Size:

Standard size – suitable for patients with a pelvic circumference of 81.28–127 cm. The standard size fits approximately 95% of the adult population.
