Lowa Z6S Desert boots are designed for use in difficult weather and rough terrain. If you often have to carry a heavy backpack, you will definitely need a pair of "Lowa Z-6S GTX". They have a reinforced midsole (compared to the "LOWA Zephyr"), which will protect your foot from damage.
