Description

All knives created by the world-famous Opinel company are distinguished from similar folding and pocket knives by the handle made of beech or rosewood and excellent high-quality steel of Swedish production, from which the blade in the form of a Turkish yataghan is made.

Knife Opinel 12 VRI, serrated according to the number in the name, received a blade length of 120 millimeters. This size of the blade is one of the longest of the entire size range. Exceptions are models with the number 13,14,15 in the name, which are designed to demonstrate the power and strength of Opinel knives and are gift options.

Opinel №12 VRI knife has a blade made of anti-corrosive Swedish steel Sandvik 12C27, and has a serrated edge, and is perfect for home use, and can come to the rescue during a hiking trip or an ordinary picnic. The owner's fingers will be safely protected from accidental folding of the blade by the Virobloc mechanism, which was invented by Marcel Opinel himself in 1955.
