Description

Opinel's superb compact knives have been made in France since 1890. In that year, Joseph Opinel created his first folding knife to order. Some 50 years later, around 20 million knives have been sold around the globe. All Opinel knives can be divided into two large groups. The first group with numbers in the name from 2 to 5 includes tools for fine work and trinkets, the second group with numbers from 6 to 10 and 12 includes classic knives used both in solving various household tasks and actively used in hiking, hunting or fishing.

Opinel 6 VRI knife has a blade made of first-class Swedish steel, which is characterized by high hardness on the Rockwell scale, and perfectly holds the factory sharpening. If necessary, it is easy to sharpen the blade with a sharpening stone. The handle of this knife is made of beech wood, which is perfectly polished and impregnated with a special compound, and is famous for its excellent characteristics.
