Description

All Opinel knives can be divided into two large groups. The first group with numbers from 2 to 5 includes tools for delicate work and trinkets, while the second group with numbers from 6 to 10 and 12 includes classic knives used both in various household tasks and actively used in hiking, hunting or fishing. Knives numbered 1 and 11 were also produced until 1939, but were subsequently discontinued.

Opinel No. 7 VRI knife has a blade made of stainless steel of Swedish production, which is perfectly amenable to additional processing, the cutting edge is sharpened straight. . The handle of the tool is made of beech wood and has an ergonomic shape, due to which the knife can be comfortably taken with both straight and reverse grip. During active use and transportation, the owner's hands and clothes are protected from accidental cuts by a lock called Viroblock, which was invented by Marcel Opinel in 1955.
