Opinel №8 Trekking Blue knife can be used not only for hiking or fishing, but also for household tasks. The distinctive feature of this tool is the presence of a leather strap threaded through the hole at the end of the handle. With the help of the strap the tool can be securely fastened on the belt of hiking pants or other elements of hiking or fishing equipment.

The cutting edge of this knife has a classic straight sharpening and the branding of the French company with a blessing hand and crown. As a material for melting the blade was chosen Swedish steel Sandvik 12C27 with a high hardness index. The length of the blade is 85 millimeters with the total length of the knife being 195 millimeters.
