Description

Opinel Knife №9 DIY Grey differs from its competitors in that it can act not only as a knife, but also as a compact screwdriver. It's all about the fact that you can find Phillips and flat screwdriver bits included with the knife. If necessary, they are inserted into the magnetized hole, which is located in the end part of the handle. When transporting or storing these bits, they are placed in special recesses on the sides of the handle.

The handle of this knife is made of durable impact-resistant plastic, and its blade with straight classical sharpening is made of Swedish steel, which is not afraid of harmful effects of moisture, and therefore is not subject to corrosion, so the knife requires minimal maintenance from the owner.

Since 1955, all Opinel knives with numbers 6 through 12, except for 11, have been produced with a lock called Virobloc. This lock was invented by Marcel Opinel, a descendant of Joseph Opinel, who created his first branded folding knife to order in 1890.
